AW17 Menswear

Rain, doom and gloom has taken over, we've said goodbye to 30 degree heat and dug out our Winter coats. The roll necks are on and the heating full blast. Us ladies have got our winter essentials on and so have the men. It's time to look at the key trends of what you men should be wearing this Autumn Winter.

Corduroy

The Nineties seem like they're finally on the way out and the Seventies look like their taking centre stage. Either go bold in head-to-toe cord or play it safe with a simple pair of trousers. Look to Prada and Armani for inspiration.

Moss Green

A major trend at London, Milan and Paris, Moss Green is the key colour of AW17. The ones that did it right, Fendi and Valentino.

Roll Necks

Bigger and better than ever before, the roll neck is back. From Louis Vuitton to J.W. Anderson, the roll neck is what you need to make a statement this season.

Quilting

Not your average style for menswer, quilting is set to be big. Quilted jumpers or your classic quilted jacket, this style is guaranteed to not only make you stand out but keep you cosy warm in the colder months. Topman and Dries Van Noten are amongst those who hit the nail on the head.

America

The land of the free was a hot topic in the run up to fashion month thanks to the goings on over in the White House and political system. Stars and stripes, red, white and blue were all the rage at the likes of Givenchy, Raf Simons and many more.

ASOS launches same day delivery

This is not a drill, this is happening.

As of today, ASOS will be offering same day delivery and we're so here for it.

We simply cannot count how many times we've planned out an outfit in our heads for our big night out then when it comes to physically trying it on, we just look like a sack of potatoes. Your evenings already ruined because now you have nothing to wear and it's too late to find something else.

But now thanks to good old ASOS that's all about to change, but there's just one catch.

Trialling the new 'ASOS Instant' in London's 122 post codes and major cities in the future, you will have to place your order before 10am to be eligible for same day delivery. Order before 10am, Sunday to Friday with delivery between 6-10pm all for £12.95.

Quite a stretch on the bank account if you ask us, but worth it if all your outfit troubles are answered.

Just when you thought ASOS could get any better, they pull this one out of the bag.

Well done ASOS, well done!

SS18 Trends

Even though we've just entered a new season and starting buying into the key trends of AW17, fashion month has taken palce and we've already started to look ahed to SS18 and the key trends that we're bound to see take over the high street. We've put together a few of our favourite trends that we're most looking forward to trying out and those that'll be firm favourites.

 Plain White Tank

Forget all about the plain white tee, next season is all about the tank top. Re-worked with screen printing at Clavin Klein, knots at Alexander Wang and layering at Zadig & Voltaire, this will for sure be a staple item.

Polka Dot

For AW17 everyone is trying out the Prince of Wales check in almost every item of clothing available, but next season will the polka dot make a return. Look to Self Portrait, Jason Wu and Rodarte for inspiration.

Millennial Pink & Red

Still going strong, Millennial Pink has been updated for next season - pair with a hint of red and you've got the go-to colour combination down. Coach 1941, Brandon Maxwell and Oscar de la Renta were just some of the ones who go this oh so right.

Lavender

Victoria Beckham, Michael Kors and Proenza Schouler amongst others have all hinted that lavender will be the next it-colour and give Millennial Pink a good old run for its money. Opt for a dash of lavender here in and there or be bold and pgo for head-to-toe lavender.

Asymmetric Necklines

The new neckline that'll up your evening wear, this one shoulder that wraps around your neck and twists along your collar bone oozes glame and sophistication. Want to see more? Turn to Tom Ford, Prabal Gurung and Cushnie et Ochs.

Rubberized

Somewhat like the vinyl trend we're experiencing at the moment, next season we'll see brands adding a bit more texture taking rubberized materials and pairing them with chic silhouettes. And the ones that have done this right... Fenty x Puma, Calvin Klein and Solace London.
