The Round-up: Menswear 2017

In recent years, menswear fashion has been going from strength to strength, with many taking a real interest into the men's fashion weeks and the street style that goes with it.

Search engine Lyst, compiles global results giving us an insight into the past year's fashion trends.

For menswear it was all about outdoor brands, as Patagonia and The North Face topped the list of the most desirable men's clothing brands in the world, with Patagonia having over 20 million searches.

Skateboarding label Palace placed in the top three fastest growing  menswears labels out there, adding to the 340% search growth in skatewear.

Other key areas within menswear were sweatpants thanks to the likes of Supreme, YEEZY and Champion. Logo's were still a hot commodity and we saw denim trends vary both here in the UK and the US - America went for the straight leg, whilst us Brits opted for the skinny leg. And finally, after Drake donned a pair of Stone Island's cargo trousers, Lyst saw over 12,000 searches for the brand in March alone.

Take a look at the top searches and what men wore in 2017:

1. Patagonia and The North Face

2. Streetwear

3. Cycling clothing

4. Pink

5. Straight leg jeans and skinny jeans

6. Sweatpants

7. Cardholders

8. Logos

9. Cargo pants

10. Rompers

11. Sneaker collaborations
