Amazon does Fashion

Last year, Amazon, was declared as the biggest clothing seller online - which came as a surprise to us too! Mainly selling third-party brands, the site has ventured into the world of fashion a little further with their very own clothing brand.

Set to take on the likes of Zara and Mango, Amazon has launched their own in-house label, Find, consisting of a 500-piece collection of womenswear and an additional 200-piece of menswear.

Find takes inspiration from the biggest, on-trend and most sought after brands such as Off-White, Balenciaga and Vetements.

"We take inspiration from across the glopbe to deliver both key pieces and great basics our customer can wear their own way. We are focused on delivering exciting new items every week," says director of Find, Glen George.

Already available exclusively in the UK you can get your hands on both clothing and footwear and take advantage of Amazon Prime too. And if you're thinking that it's just going to be cheap and low-quality, then think again.

According to the Telegraph, "What might surprise the fashion industry is that Amazon's collection isn't a bargain-basement attempt to undercut rivals on the price of basic T-shirts. Instead it is challenging rivals with more fashion-forward itmes: patent boots cost £56, high-waisted skinny jeans are priced at £26, while a checked blazer is £40."

From what we've seen sp far, Find looks like they mean business and we're already eyeing up those pink sock boots.

ASOS does Beauty

As if ASOS couldn't get any better...well they just did.

The online shopping Gods have spoiled us once again with their latest announcement of a new 46-piece cosmetic collection, Face and Body.

Lipsticks, liners, shadows, highlighers and blushers galore, the collection aims to inspire a 'focus on enhancing overselves internally' with an empowering message for '20-somethings to confidently be themselves, however they choose to do so.'

Describing the face and body as a "canvas, an adventure in individual self-expression, an opportunity to experiement and play."

We don't know much about the range, just that it'll be available from mid-September with prices starting at £5 for a liner to £10 for finishing powder.

Winter Wardrobe - The Essentials

It's September and in my eyes Winter has come.

I've already donned the Winter boots and the big coat and already looking forward at the new season. The Summer clothes have been packed away and the Winter wardobe has made a return. And with that in mind, we've put together our AW17 wardrobe essentials.

It's time to embrace the cold and start layering up.

 1. The Coat

Textured Coat, Zara, £95.99

First things first, you need a solid coat. One that'll keep you all warm and toasty on the walk to the tube station but also one that won't be too hot on the tube itself. Biker jackets, trench, puffa and fur are all the rage this season. One tip we'll give you is go for something different - try a colour that you wouldn't normally wear. Either splash out on a coat you can wear year to year or opt for what's trending this season.

2. The Ankle Boot

ALFIE Buckle Boot, Topshop, £89

The trusty ankle boot, the first thing on our Winter shopping list. Whether you prefer a heeled boot or a good old biker boot, you really cannot go wrong. We're loving the embellishment on boots this year, from buckles to pearls, it's time to step up your boot game.

3. Knitwear

Free People Wide Neck Oversized Jumper, ASOS, £128

The more oversized, the better. Winter is all about layering and keeping cosy and a nice chunky knit will do just the job. This season go for bold colours including colour of the season, red, as you'll be sure to stand out in the crowd.

4. Leather & Vinyl

Vinyl pinafore dress, MANGO, £35.99

Probably the material that we associate best with colder months, leather or vinyl, has to be a go-to. Skirts, trousers, pinafores, dunagrees, coats, dresses... the possibilities are endless!

5. The Poloneck

Polo neck sweater with pearly buttons, ZARA, £19.99

A staple item of any wardrobe, the classic black polo neck. Pair with any skirt or any jean and you're good to go, they're really isn't much else to say.

6. The Tea Dress

White floral print tea dress, New Look, £27.99

We've mentioned the tea dress before as a staple item of Summer, but who's to say that we should say goodbye to every thing in our SS17 wardrobe. Perfect to wear from day-to-night, pair with trainers in the day and swap for a chunky boot in the evening. For this season we will say, go for darker, warmer prints instead of bold and in your face.

7. The Scarf

ASOS Supersoft Long Woven Scarf with Tassels, ASOS, £12

To complete any look, the best thing you can do is accessorise. To keep your face and neck warm in those chilly winds a chunky scarf can do no wrong.

So there you have it, our AW17 wardrobe essentials.

Time to get spending ladies!
