Trainers have fast become the go-to for the fashion world. From day to night, they will go with anything - midi dress, to cropped trousers and jeans, you simply can do no wrong when it comes to wearing the right trainers. This year we've seen the classics to newbies appear on all the coolest girls feets and so we've put together the utlimate list that pretty much everyone in fashion is wearing.
Nike Cortez
An old-school classic that has only just recently popped up on our radar and their giving fashions ultimate trainer, the Stan Smith, a good run for their money. Launched originally in 1972, the Cortez is set to become the new 'It' shoe in fashion - and yes, we've already managed to bag ourself a Millennial Pink pair.
Converse Chuck Taylor All Star
They will always be at the forefront of fashion and most definitely will never leave fashion, the Converse Chuck Taylor is the ultimate classic trainer. So versatile, with styles and colours to suit everyone, this year it was the turn of the high-top.
Vans
Just like Converse, Vans can be found everywhere. Literally everywhere. Within the past year we saw Vans dominate the fashion world and even become dubbed as the official trainer of fashion because everyone owned a pair. The old-school style of black and white can be easily paired with anything, from day to night, which is why they've become so popular in recent years.
Gucci
Not the cheapest on this list, but these are definitely the go-to of fashions elite. Priced around the £400 mark, Gucci has stepped up their game when it came to trainers this year. Bringing out a different style of embellishment and detail, from embroidered snakes and bees to pearls, your shoe game will be so strong if you're spotted in a pair of these.
Adidas Gazelle
The Adidas Gazelle hit peak popularity a few seasons ago thanks to the fact that they were available in pretty much any colour going, the classic Gazelle will always be a firm favourite and will certainly appear on all 'best of' lists. Still going strong, there's no sign of slowing down for these sneaks.
Nike Air Max 97
The Air Max 97 was designed with the runner in mind as stated on Nike's website, but you can almost guarantee today's wearers are doing no such thing. Over the past year we've seen a revival of our childhood trainers come to light and these are no different.
