Tinie Tempah has made a name for himself within the music industry as Britain's favourite rapper, but now he has decided to take on the fashion industry. As one of Britain's best-dressed men and a London Fashion Week regular, on Saturday we got to see his vision with his debut collection for new menswear label, What We Wear.
'Why don't we actually make something that we would actually wear,' was the thought process behind the collection. Clean, minimal and most importantly, wearable. Jersey sweats, boxy t-shirts, drawstring waists with popper detail, the collection was the epitome of the sportswear trend that has taken center stage within both menswear and womenswear in recent years. The navy, black, grey and white colour palette along with the attention to detail aesthetic makes the collection suited to wearing both day and night.
For his debut collection it's one that we just can't fault. It has everything you could wish for. Tinie has made an impressive entry onto the industry's scene and we look forward to see his next offering come June.
