@Siduations

Now, we love fashion. We take interest in the latest collections, the newest trends and what our favourite trendsetters are wearing, but every now and again we can't help but have a giggle at the fashion industry.

As social media plays such an important role within the fashion industry, more and more instagram accounts have started to photoshop fashion shows, street style and celebs into every day situations.

And that's where @Siduations comes in. The zeitgeisty account ran by Sidney Prawatyotin, has caught the eye of the industry thanks to his recent postings during the AW17 shows. From Chanel models in metallic wraps in a crowd of marathon runners wrapped in foil and Balenciaga yellow puffa jackets next to an airplane life jacket to Disney princesses and villians looking upon big names within the industry. This account has got it all.

The idea behind the images are not to make fun at the industry and some of the questionable items that we see, it's just meant to be a little bit fun. "I love fashion. I hope none of the designers think I'm making fun of them," Prawatyotin says.

The whole inspiration behind the account and the images came from none other than style icon Chloë Sevigny. In a picture posted to her personal account, the actress is wearing a floor-length Prada dress and is on a basketball court. Prawatyotin, thinking that this wasn't your conventional location for a shoot, he decided to stick a basketball emoji on it and send it back. She then posted it onto her account and @Siduations was born.

Dubbed 'real fake news', accounts like this are what makes fashion enjoyable. Yeah the industry might produce some wacky stuff, but at least we can have fun with it and nobody gets offended...we hope.
