Recognise this bag? Do you feel like you have most definitely seen it before? That's probably because you have and you may even own on.
Balenciaga have recently launched their latest tote - see above - and we can't help but notice that it is almost identical to the trusty Ikea Frakta carrier bag that we have all certainly owned at some point.
Whilst the Ikea carrier is made entirely out of platic with a price tag of 40p, the designer bag is a bit more up-market and made of fine Italian leather. And will set you back around £1,600.
So how did Ikea react to this news? Probably in the best way possible...
Sales leader, Stella Monteiro told Today, "We are extremely flattered to seemingly be an inspiration for the latest catwalk designs for Balenciaga."
"Our Ikea Frakta tote is one of our most iconic products which are already owned and loved by millions - now many people truly can get the designer look for less."
We've got to give it to Ikea for this genius ad and response to Balenciaga. Now all we need to do is dig out our own or head straight to our local Ikea and get our hands on the latest 'it' bag.
