"Same girl, same day, same time," wrote body positivity adovcate Milly Smith when she posted the above photos - a before and after shot of how an item of clothing can alter your appearance within an instance.
Milly, along with 11 other women have set out to challenge the way in which we are perceived on social media by posting 'before and after' shots taken minutes apart to show that everyone has their own flaws. From back/stomach rolls, cellulite and food babies; we've all got them.
"We are so blinded to what a real unposed body looks like and blinded to what beauty is that people would find me less attractive within a 5 second pose switch! How insanely ridiculous is that!?" says Smith.
Model and body image supporter, Iskra Lawrence has even got on board to show her support of the cause. "Your fat rolls are beautiful. And the reason we have been led to believe they aren't is because we don't see them in the media unless someone's being shamed for weight gain or ridiculed for their body."
Times are changing. People are starting to speak up about the unrealistic ideals that social media puts in place for one another. The definition of 'perfect' no longer has the meaning in which we're used to. It applies to everyone and anyone. And these series of images are helping to break down those boundaries and insecurities that people might have.
