Nike wants Equality

With Nike's latest campaign just recently announced, the company is holiding nothing back when it comes to what's going on within the White House and America.

Not one to shy away from speaking their mind, this isn't the first time the sportswear brand has commented on the Trump administration. After the announcement of his immigration ban, Nike's CEO, Mark Parker released a letter to all employees saying:

"Nike stands together against bigotry and any form of discrimination."

"Nike believes in a world where everyone celebrates the power of diversity. Regardless of whether or how you worship, where you come from or who you love, everyone's individual experience is what makes us stronger as a whole."

Which is where their 'Equality' campaign comes in.

The campaign's video, voiced by Michael B. Jordan, features sporting heroes LeBron James and Serena Williams, with Alicia Keys providing the soundtrack of 'It's Been a Long Time Coming' by Sam Cooke.

"Opportunity should not discriminate. The ball should bounce the same for everyone."

And it's not just billboards, television and computer screens that you can see this campaign. Nike have taken it one step further to get the message out, by displaying quotes from their campaign over the sides of buildings. And we're not talking little coffee shops. Oh, no. We're talking skyscrapers.

This is one message that cannot be ignored and evidently, won't.
